Honestly, I think it's impossible to know for sure. These are so easily reproduced.

They are paper printed squares which are found pasted inside books from Hitler's personal library.

My first question is the most obvious one- why was it not used for a book? Certainly they would have had a number of these made so the plate could be applied when he acquired a new book, but it just looks too clean to me. Not saying the seller is dishonest just wondering about the item. Without provenance it is a bear to figure out.

I would say if you're into that side of collecting (which I am, I will add) you might do better to wait until an actual library book with ex libris plate inside becomes available. I have one I can live without, so feel free to PM me.
