2 big framed panzer pictures , same soldier opinions please ?

I have these two nice pictures for some time in my collection and I've always been wondering if it's the same man on both pictures ?

I was hoping you could share your thoughts on it as well as on the numbers shoulder boards. Is it possible to ID the regiment or division this soldier belonged to ?

7th Pz Rgt, he was likly a Pz Knacker and wore the black wrap if in his tank destroyer and the field uniform if rockin his PAK gun. Its the same guy no doubt. Matt

if you find a number on the shoulder buttons you even know his company. But these numbers werent always worn.
