Hi Dingus, talking about his size, I remember seeing one of his white summer tunics in the Imperial War Museum in London. I was really surprised to see that it was by no means huge.

Post #15 shows an interesting comparison of the wear of awards. The officer to the left of the one Goring is in front of is wearing his pilot's badge and wound badge in opposite position. The order of precedence of awards was confusing back then as well! I believe that he is actually wearing them in the proper order.
