    Magazine with Bormann name

This magazine has the name Bormann written on it, but I don't think it's his handwriting?

I agree; the handwriting on the magazine does not appear to be that of either of the Bormann brothers, both of which had connections to the Berlin Reichschancellery. What is of perhaps of more defining interest, at least to me, is that half-sheet of letterhead bearing Julius Schaub's name and titles, and I wonder whether the person who picked these pieces up found them all in the same office or room, or scattered around the vast buildings? We will never know the answer to that, of course, but the wording on that Schaub note reads like an inter-office cover note which would be sent from one department to another along with a letter or document or magazine that Schaub received and wanted to pass along to someone else. The absence of Schaub's signature appears to confirm that use of this note as having been offset for that use. Perhaps he received this magazine in his mail and wanted to share it with one of the Bormann brothers? I am not familiar with Schaub's handwriting, but it just might be that he wrote "Bormann" on that magazine!

Always something interesting to consider! Thanks for sharing,

    Br. James

That's an interesting point. I would like to purchase these but the price is too high, and given that it was listed a long time ago suggests other collectors feel the same way.
