Hi i am posting my grandfathers old documents and photos. Many of the portrait photos of my grandfather are in multiple copies.
He was with the Grenadier regiment 15 mot (29. Infantry division) and with the Panzer grenadier 15 (29 Panzer-grenadier division )after his old regiment was decimated at Stalingrad. He was wounded 7th of january (shrapnel, both legs) and flow out soon after.
During the war he was awarded the wound badge in bronze and silver. He got the infantry assault badge bronze, EK I and EK II. Last but not least he was also awarded the closed combat clasp in gold. I am not publishing all of the documents as some of them aren't as relevant (pre-war postcards and letters) I will start out with a picture of the entire lot.
