    Booklet Information

I have this booklet that I wish to know if it’s a collectable item please, and if there is anything more about it than a simple propaganda booklet. Thanks
    Alf.

Propaganda was very important in keeping the air in the balloon that was the Third Reich.....In saying this, the back of the pamphlet shows this was one in a series.....Very likely given out with the idea of propaganda in mind....Very cool by the way....Bodes

It's actually the last pamphlet in the series......On the bottom of the cover it reads something to the effect of "war library the German youth".....Bodes

These booklets were war stories written specifically targeting Hitler Youth...so more of a recruitment on the glory of war to entice the youth of that time into joining up...so in a sense it was propaganda. So to answer you question...Yes they are collectable and prices vary depending on the subject matter.

Conscription in the HJ and the military were compulsory, so propaganda in order to find recruits wasn't necessary....More likely just tales to spur on their National Socialist ardor.....Bodes
