This Hauptmann looks like every other guy under 30 I see in Munich these...the more things change the more they stay the same??

The text on the reverse reads, " Das war doch ein feines Spaß! Was?" Translation in hipster lingo "dude".

Why not? Are there no comparisons? Not arguing with you but having talked to veterans there are always similar points.

Ever see shots of USGI's from WW2? It was almost a contest to see how far off your head to the side you could tilt your hat.

Probably as silly looking and as practical to their parents as sagging skinny jeans are today.
