Kriegsmarine Soldbuch

Hi,

Anyone help me as i've recently purchased a Kriegsmarine Soldbuch to a sailor who has some training on U Boats but the seller mentioned he couldn't find out if he actually served on any for during an operation.

Can anyone advise or point me in the right direction to a website which could help me find this ww2 sailor online, i have his full name and Date of birth and there are a few entries in German but need help as im stuck.
