Maenner Turn-Verein "L" (men's gymnastic club). The L could be Leipzig, perhaps Ludwigshagen, or some even more obscure German city. Perhaps a zoom in on the smaller characters on each side of the L would shed some light on it. (Normally they'd be the year the club was founded, like 19 04)

I sent the club in Germany a copy yesterday and they were very happy with it. They were amazed that men of that age could do the things of 20 year olds! The Volkssturm must of kicked ass at the end of WW2 lol!!!

It seems that today...all these clubs are for kids...and you rarely/never see 'senior' adults participating in certain activities...so it's nice to see that they did at one point.
We need to revive these type of clubs!Comment

The YMCA in Yamouth, Nova Scotia has a few seniors but most of them are barely alive. But one man in his 70's runs everyday on the treadmill. Very inspiring!Originally posted by FreeRange View PostComment

I heard a storry about a 85 jear old SS-Mann who was suposed to getting robberit by 3 jung strong turks (pigs) in a metrostation in viena
he smascht all 3 of them to the ground and knokt them out
when police arrived the could not belive it all 3 where siriussly woundet, when police ask him how is that possible he said thats the hand to hand combat training he get by the SS
and he still doing every day sport and gymnasticComment
