O.U. in the upper right corner of german report

    Hey, guys!

Just a fast question regarding German reports.

What means this "O.U." in the upper right corner of a report, before the date? For example, "O.U., den 1. Februar 1944". How to translate this?

    Thanks in advance!

    Br.,
    Alex

Showing an image would help to determine properly, but probably means Ortsunterkunft which refers to a billet or location.

I'd say it is for Ortsunterkunft.

I found, that it's "a code word for "cantonment", used in correspondence to mask a deployment location in German armed forces".

So, it means actually nothing. Word, used to mask a location.
