My 2nd german Cross in Gold Group for 2015

Hi Guys. Here is my second DKG-Group for 2015. Really early Group with signature from Brauchitsch. A Shame that the formal DK-Award has been cut, but well, better than nothing. The Group contains the SB and 12 award documents. Those who always want to know "what did you paid" for it " will be disappointed... This one has been given to me for free by the daughter. The details I especially love : The typical 72.I.D. Design for the ISA, note the printed "Auf der Krim".... and also the signature from KC Holder with Oakleaves Karl Baacke (also to be seen in the SB) which was KIA not far from Kamenez-Podolsk on April 1st 1944. A. ended the War as bataillon-Leader of the 942.Inf.Rgt. (353.I.D.) and was captured during the battle of the Bulge. Lionel.

The Daughter kept only this framed Picture, the only one showing A. with his Awards documents.

I'd like to say it's not fair, Lionel. But, you are doing a tremendous job of developing and maintaining contacts, and keeping these great groups together. Nice work!!

Thanks Thomas, Jeff, Brian, Tom and Hanks. Mostly the same people commenting those Threads, but well, that probably people who really know to appreciate them, and, as Brian said, the energy it means to find them... As requested, now some close uip of the individual Award documents.
First early Promotion to "Wachtmeister", signed by the wellknown Fedinand SCHAAL, here still a Colonel. Dienstauszeichnungen IV and III, first for 4 Years of Service, second for 12. These both signature are not easy to find out. First could be Lieut.-Col Hans-Georg von ZANTHIER, no Idea aout the last one.... Pz.Abwehr.Abt.37 and 38 which were repectively part of the 1st and 2nd.Pz.Div.

First Wound on July 24th 1941. The Unit is most interesting "Der vorausabteilung Baacke der 72.I.D.", that I can not translate in English, with the corresponding Signature from Karl BAACKE (KC with Oakleaves, KIA 1944)
