    Adolf Hitler original photo question

    Gents,

I purchased a document Lot maybe 20 years ago from a local dealer and this was one of the highlights - although I had never known who the lady is, it occurred to me that this might be Paula, his sister.

Pros: I see a resemblance between the two and the lady looks like Paula photos; looks like an alpine setting like Berchtesgaden; also, there is a familiarity and physical closeness that might not be there if it was not someone close to him - also, a very private setting (e.g., no masses of followers, not even a lot of his inner circle)
Cons: Back of photo is printed in Aachen - although it was common for Germans to come to Berchtesgaden and try to photograph and meet the Führer, I have not heard about him being photographed in public with his sister? Photos of them do exist, just not a plethora.

What do you gents think, is this Paula or just some matronly older lady who couldn't resist the Führer's charms and wanted a photo?

The photobucket links do not work.
The woman with Hitler in civilian clothes and hat in the wordpress link is Helene Bechstein I believe, not Paula Hitler.

Seriously? This is how you label an album or link? I'd be scared to see what else is in there....

I think the woman in your note #4 is Hitler's elder half-sister, Angelika (Angela) Hitler Raubal Hammitzsch, and that Angela is also the woman in the upper photo linked to your note #1. Hitler's younger sister, Paula Hitler Wolf, is seen in the auto in the lower photo linked to your note #1.

Hitler's widowed half-sister Angela, together with her daughters Angela Maria (Geli) Raubal and Elfriede (Friedl) Raubal, came from Austria to serve as her brother's housekeeper in the late 1920s when he bought Haus Wachenfeld. The photo in note #4 was taken on the patio of Haus Wachenfeld in the early 1930s, prior to the major renovation which created the Berghof.
