Cuffband "Afrika" award document

    Hello guys

I once again need your help in tracking down a signature of a commanding officer. Does anyone of you can tell me the name of the commanding officer of Panzerregiment 6 who signed this award document? Thanks for your help.

The recipient is from Pz.Rgt.5 which was destroyed in Africa. The Oberst who signed the document seems like from the sister regiment (both were part of 3.Pz.Div. till 1940), Pz.Rgt.6, right? If he is, he could be Oberst Friedrich. He was officially appointed to the commander of Pz.Rgt.6 as of August 26, 1944.

Well, I can't be sure about this one, sorry.

      Hi there

no the man who got the award is from the 6th Panzerregiment. The scan is not as good as it should be, but on the original is clear a 6.

Definitely 6! The signature does read Friedrich, the date is a bit too early but very close and possible; just my guess.
