Oberstabsarzt Dr. Schiffermüller

Hello all,

Here is a picture taken out from an album concerning the san.ers.abt. 17 der luftwaffe.

On the picture, in front, is ObStArzt dr. Schiffermüller. He did not have a very spectacular carrier.

Can anyone depict the person in the background..?..seems to be in the higher ranking luftwaffe medical personel..
Seems he have the DRK order 2nd class, and something on the right side as well...cannot see what it is.
Anyway, he must be a generalarzt or above..and from WW1.

He wears a Spanish cross as well as a spanish breast order. So maybe a former Condor Legion member?
