As far as I know Spanish blue division soldier retreat from USSR in early 1943 and at these photo we can see sumpftarn camo parkas which were introduced in late 1943 so I suspect the guy which is not german would be spanish soldier but romanian soldier as Romania fought with Germans to late 1944.

You are probably correct. All my references are still packed up in boxes but I did do a search on line and saw a few photos of Romanian Soldiers wearing berets very similiar to the Spanish type berets.
