Hi Jeremy, I just requested the opinion of some people here, if the ink signed - alledged - Rommel signature could be a fake. I got severalo answers about and so I am satisfied. I thank you all for your opinion and answers.

    What is your point, Weweslburg?

Do you believe (based on your self-professed expertise you mentioned in another thread) that they are both Africa period Rommel-signed?

    Back to my previous posts:

Apart from chit-chat, can you provide multiple examples on documents to support your view that these are 'typical Africa period' Rommel sigs?

Are you a dealer or connected to a dealer?

Do you still say Haas is wrong about the documents I posted on the other thread?

And some other specific questions for you:

Do you believe the Eric Hartmann sigs Korlin produced (discussed on another thread) are fake?

    http://dev.wehrmacht-awards.com/foru...gnature&page=5

Do you believe the Marseille combat reports Korlin sold are fake?

Please respond directly to the above questions with a simple Yes/No (apart from the first one about your point).

You still have not presented any argument against the fake factory Rommel 'signature'. Instead of trying to catch me out with your little 'one-signature test' posts, try to be intelligent and produce a sound argument with support for why the signature posted at the start of this thread is an Africa period signature and why it is not a fake factory example like many others available.

Not sure what you mean by the photo with sig is much better, Bill... the signature is standard factory. It's got little to do with imagining whether Rommel would sign it or not.

Yep, Weweslburg, didn't expect any intelligent or useful response from you once again...

Hi Jeremy, can you explain WHY you offend me ? It is not the first time in this Forum that you offend me. All I have done was downloading a photo of a Rommel signature with the request, help, opinion, support by other forum members, if this signature may be a forgery. I always thought that this forum is also for collectors who needs help. If you have a problem with my person, or a common problem with Germans, I suggest not to answer my requests and posts anymore. Thanks.

I think using this kind of proof collecting material will be a little bit reduced!
[QUOTE= Or supporting evidence like a polaroid of the individual actually signing the piece in question. [/QUOTE]

            oh dear

Weweslburg, an inane post, especially the bit about Germans. Need a hug, then?

No, actually, you claimed a fake factory Rommel was an authentic 'Africa period signature'. I responded. And you asked me specifically for an opinion on another Rommel you posted not anyone else. Get your sob story straight.

If you make unsubstantiated claims regarding Rommel signatures as being an authentic example of 'an Africa period signature' and someone asks you to provide at least some evidence on this forum and then you withdraw, you add nothing to this forum.

I asked you some simple but specific questions which you refuse to answer. Pointless.

I'll post anytime I see someone who, like you, brags about their expertise and offers unsubstantiated opinions which do nothing to help out collectors here, just confuse the issue. If that offends your sensitive nature, don't post mickey mouse comments like the one about the signature originally presented in this thread. Offer something useful instead of slinking away.

Actually, if you read the responses on the ink signature, only one person (Bill) out of three gave an opinion related to actual authenticity and so I am a little surprised that you are satisfied. I did not say if I thought it was real or not (I no longer provide opinions here) and neither did Frankandfrank. We just agreed that the two examples appear to be written by different people.
              Max.

donĀ“t need a hug Jeremy, be sure. I just want that another person shows respect to another person. This should be a usual attitude for everyone. It is not a good character to offend other forum members who just requested an opinion.

....I asked you some simple but specific questions which you refuse to answer.... Jeremy: Am I forced to answer your questions ? Just take a second and think about. I am not and I can decide to answer and to do whatever I want to do. It is my free decision and no one here can force me to answer or to give my opinion.

Slinking away ? Who are you ? The Big Boss here on Wehrmacht awards, or do you have a common character problem ? I am NOT your minion, so you should learn how to discuss with other people, respect them AND especially respect their opinion. You think you know it all, right ? If wannabe Jeremy lists 15 links and says that all these are fake factories, then we all here must accept your opinion, because you know it all. RIDICULOUS and SHAMEFUL. YOU and no one here will ever take away my personal opinion...is this now clear, boy !?

                  oh dear

Nice tantrum, Weweslburg - anger is the usual default response for someone who cannot respond with rational thought.

Difficult to respect an opinion from you (a self-acclaimed expert in writing on this forum) about that signature in question being "an Africa period" one and who then offers generalisations about shopping lists and Hitler when questioned about it.

I am presenting information to support the idea of the fake factory Rommel signature. If you or someone doesn't accept that's fine. If you think it's authentic, I don't care. I merely disagree, and further discussion here leads to learning (and I do mean for both of us and any other readers), where slinking off does not.

My point is you still offer nothing useful about your claim for it being an African period sig, and then you whine and 'shout' (capital letter use) when I question you and ask you to support your view. Don't post then. It just reflects you have nothing to support your opinion and you merely offer random comments about authenticity.

Sure, don't answer the other questions I posed, either, if it might expose your sacred personal opinions.
