If they are not the same fellow then the coincidence of the facial features plus the unusual shoulder slides, the long ribbon bar and the edge of his collar tab over the collar Tresse are beyond amazing. Photos taken at two different times or days of the same soldier to me.

For sure - I have found many polish items in germany over the years, mostly helmets, visors and badges. And a border-sign.
