What are your feelings or thoughts about these two documents? I have not bought them yet because I want like to hear more from you guys!
The EK2 document is signed by GM Walter Steinmüller who was commander of 346. Inf.-Div. I found out that Res. MG-Btl.14 was in the same region as the 346. Inf-Div. was in October 1944 (being in either France or Belgium as reserve under 15. Armee). I do find it strange or uncommon that the EK2 was awarded just one day before the Sturmabzeichen was. Look at the dates - EK2 dated 10.10.1944 and Sturmabzeichen 11.10.1944. Next to that fact, the units are also different...
