Hi,
I did receive a lot of paper/photos from the WK1 and while he has been in Landsberg lately.
Otto Hofmann was an SS-Gruppenführer and an official of Nazi Germany's "Race and Settlement Main Office".
On his 54th birthday he received a paper from his fellows and the names are quite interesting as they have been convicted for war crimes in Dachau, Mauthausen, etc.
I could find out already a number of names and the reasons:
Rudolf Lehmann
Franz Pietzarka
Alois Obermeier
Kraft, Wilhelm
Oswald Ulbricht
Kobilke, Lothar
Paul Wolfram Case No. 000-50-5-49 (US vs. Paul Wolfram) Tried 16 Oct. 47
Case No. 12-926 (US vs. Adolf Weger and Julius Schulze) Tried 8 Dec. 45
Case No. 12-1395 (US vs. Karl Grosch et al) Tried 22 Feb. 47
Hanz Niemann - should be Hans-Heino
Ingward Rudloff
Walther Heissig
now there are only 4 missing and hope someone can help to make out the signatures.
Many thanks in advance
Bernd
