Negatives

I just unearthed many hundreds of my grandfather's negatives from WW2. Where could I get these printed so I can view them? Would it be very expensive???

What kind of negatives? if they are 35mm, or 2 1/4 by 2/14 it would be cheaper to get a photo scanner, how many are you talking about/
