Isn´t the award date for the WIO document too late?

And also the stamp of the WIO document looks like a fake to me.

You posted them an hour ago, during the daytime and you wonder why no one's answered yet?As far as the Eastfront doc goes, the date is fine. It possible that the doc was actually awarded quite sometime later, hence the Hohenstaufen stamp.

you'd have to check out the sigs to get a better idea.

Doc is signed by Krüger and is correct .

you can never be too careful about the paperworks... If most are originals one could be faked to add value... Only homework will (hopefully) help...

An interesting unit, Waffenmeister-Werkstatt-Kompanie! There was one, in the SS-Panzer-Instandsetzungs-Abt.10 as its 4th Kompanie... I feel that it should be spelled as 4.W.W.K./Pz.Jnst... but since I've never seen a real one in the past, I can't say anything for sure... This is the kind of concern I have when I see a Hauptmann being a Kommandeur of a batallion instead of more appropriate Führer but it is hard to prove either way without much specific knowledge, which unfortunately is not with me in this case.
