Captured British & US Flag

Hallo,

I've found this photo on Ebay, in the advertising they say it is a copy of a original photo but I can't find the original photo on the internet.
The sellers says the photo has been made on Crete (Kreta) and you can see three German Paratroopers.
I have never seen a photo with German soldiers and a captured US flag!
Please your opinion, is this a reenactnement photo or a could this be real ?
As I said before, I have never seen this picture before!

Hello Jeroen:
I've seen this photo before, and IMO it shows two
incorrect detail home made flags. In particular the
US flag has what is called a "blood stripe" below
the star canton ---> see my photo comments <---

You will also notice that "if" the white stripes in the American flag are actually white, the stars should also be the same white.
