    Major Schirowsky I./99 GBJ

    Hello all,

I have this series of 5 pictures from the 1. batallion geirgsjäger regiment 99. Well, at least it is written on the back.

Can anyone confirm that this is the case..?..

One person is especially named, a major Schirowsky from 1st batallion. Does this makes sense..?..

    Thanks in advance..!!.

There was a Major Schirovsky in the army at the time, but if he did a spell with GJR 99 for a time early war i don't know.

Simon, thanks, yes I cannot find anything about him relating to the GBJ - although I can only find data on the internet about the commanders of the 1. btl from 1941 and onwards. I dont know if there is any books written about this regiment 99..?..do you or anyone else know about this..?..
