Hello everyone,
I need some help from all the experts of this forum to try and figure out if this signature is authentic or not. It is of Fritz Fessmann, recipient of the RK w/ oakleaves and swords.
The reason I am doubtful of its authenticity is because the way the "F's" are written in the signature - when compared to his other signatures, they look very different. The rest of the signature looks pretty close to the originals, however.
Can someone please offer me their opinon? I would be very interested in what everyone has to say. This may even help others learn how to identify and distinguish between real or fake wartime Knights Cross recipient signatures (I know it will help me!).
Thanks guys.
