    Quite the charmer!

    Hello all!

I've had this picture laying around for quite some time, never got around to check it out.

My question is, off course, is it original?

I really like the picture for what it is; A german soldier in a warm embrace with his girlfriend.

    Hi Robert,

Your photo does look original enough to me.

With both of them wearing cloves, seems to me that she does have a floral corsage pinned on her dress (orchid at her left ?), or is it part of her bridal bouquet ?
He in his best uniform with dress bayonet with troddel.
I think that we are looking at a nice photograph taken on their wedding day and sure one from their wedding photo shoot.

The stamp on the back shows :

    Foto J.Müllender
    Haaren-Aachen
    Adolf-Hitler-Str.41

The Aachener Adressbuch 1936 shows :

    Josef Müllender, Schriftsetzer, Adolf-Hitler-Str.41, Haaren.

Josef was a Schriftsetzer = typesetter, working as a printer and as shown on the back of the photo also as a photographer.

    Best regards

    Eric-Jan
