Anyone know what going on in this photo? One of the men sitting in front is holding a sign with the date of 18th May 1942. Thanks!

Wounded or ill soldiers in typical hospital suits. Obviously they make fun out of the simular look to prison suits, and added selfmade numbers for the foto
