Waffen SS Stug A?

today I got a lot of nice SS portraits and I have got a question about the A.Can you tell me for what this A stands for?I will show you the shoulder boards of the camo portrait but I got also one in his Stug uniform.

If I am correct this means he was part of a Aufklärungs (reconnaissance) unit.
