    Hi
I can't quite make the badges out, are they Para's and not Belgium SAS?

        m-1936 pistol belt

They appear to be wearing the m-1936 american army pistol belt. I guess they copied our design.

          Hi Pegasus

          Neat picture.

Here's a deadcard from a para who died, probably during that same operation ( the liberation of white hostages in Stanleystad)

Alfons De Waegeneer, born in my village died cause of severe woundings on 25/11/1965 in Leopoldstad.

He was only 19 years old.
          Amen

ps. De Waegeneer died in 1964 and not 1965.
