A really stupid question

Looked around the internet for clarification but still none the wiser.
Are original WW1 German Photographs developed on postcard paper referred to as photographs ,photo-postcards or something else?
I am only referring to photographs not patriotic mass produced pictures or the like.

think I found the answer-Its Real Photographic Post Card (R.P.P.C.) which I believe is an original photograph developed from a negative using postcard paper or backing
