These docs look from the images 100%. The biggest clue is in the colour of the ink of the signature and stamp; it "browns" as it ages.

Of course one will never know for sure until you have the doc in your hand where a number of simple tests can be done to determine its authenticity!

It's all down to the conditions in which they are kept, this is the kind of thing sunlight will do to them, very few of my docs show this kind of fading, some even look as pristine as the day they were signed and stamped.

Exactly, the fading, often artifical fading to cover stamps/signature details, bothers me most...
But I guess if all of you are comfortable about these - may be they are ok after all..

Hi Michael. We all have now to be cautious with Award documents, you are right. But in this case, these 2 documents are 100% OK for me. Lionel.
