Great additions. Certainly some flying personal involved in "Bandenkampf" /security operation. When and where ? Their weapons were not on the top... Like in main Lw rear or second line units.

Luft 76 Thank you for your comments. No writing on the reverse but looking at the wall and a section of the buildings I think these Senior NCO's are somewhere in Germany training with second line straightbolt rifles.

Here is a death card I recently acquired on Generalleutnant Robert Pistorius holder of DK in Gold and Commander of a Luftwaffe Field Division.

Jan17 - LWFD soldiers on Exercise/training. It appears that the LW Officer is explaining something to another officer in Ground Combat Camo Jacket with an Army Officer to his right and another officer to his left wearing a flieger bluse.

The officer looks a little like Alfred Schlemm. Would that fit the situation in the picture?
