SS man signed photo id help...

Found this framed, signed photo in my closet. A friend gave this to me several years ago and unfortunately I cannot remember his name or who he is (signature is tough to make out)

Any idea who this chap might be and could the signature be authentic?

That's Danish Knight's Cross winner Soeren Kam, who is still alive in Germany. He has signed up to the present, and that looks like other signatures of his. He is one of the least likely to be faked because he has been alive so long and in reasonable health. Therefore he has signed many photos over many years.

The actual image was colorized, it is a BW photo in its original form. It is a portrait from a ceremony in Copenhagen in March 1945, when Kam was honored while on home leave.
