Kraftfahrzeugschein - car papers 1941

A friend of mine found that document in the group of German military documents in Poland.

Here are quick photos:





My German is far from perfect, but still I managed to find out that ts a civilian passenger car of OPEL make. Can somebody read more info out of it ? What model etc ? Why was the reg. number changed ? DW - what was the location ?

How much might this thing be really worth ?

The owner of the car lived in "Preußisch Damerau", Kreis Stuhm

Judging by the engine (1279 ccm) it was Opel Olympia 1935-1937, first mass-produced car in Germany.

Change of plate from I.B. possibly resulting from either relocation of owner or selling the car - my theory...

any additional info anybody may add ? Anybody seeing the letters above the signature ? Do they mean tha signature was given 'in the name' of the Stuhm Landrat or Landrat himself (Artur Franz) ? Possibly I can see 'Im Auftrag' near the stempel (in the name of).

The letters above the Landrat signature are " I. V. " - Vertretung - on behalf of.

Normaly a Landrat would not sing such a document personally.
