        Hi Lionel,

Thank you for such a lightening fast answer! Would you perhaps be able to say something about the shield that comes with it?

Checked it and indeed! It has a stamp on the back with 3 letters and a date. Interesting! I only have a typed Besitzzeugnis so was wondering about this one with the shield pictured.

The set also has the Wehrpass with it so as far as I can gather information it is a set that belongs together.

            Thanks again!

Yes, this form is really nice, but it is by far not the rarest one, it was used (among others) for the 132.Inf.Div. The date stamped on the back could be 15.Jan.1943.

You are right, the stamp on the back reads: H. Qu. 15.Jan.1943

The only shield documents I have that are a little rare are a few Lappland documents.

I was talking especially about the Krimshield. You can encounter some very different and interested printed forms of it. Without collecting it, I probably have more than 10 models dispatched in my Groupings....
Collecting all the forms could be a cool hobby. I have a Friend collecting all kind of printed forms from IAB, and that's really a very fascinating collection. You had a lot of "basical" Infantery Units having their own design... That's the great Point by Documents, a never ending Research !!

You are very right there! Different types are very collectable. I have to many interests regarding Militaria so different types is not a real option for me. However as mentioned it is very interesting indeed.

                    Researcing is good fun.
