Whos signature?

For some years ago I bought a group of drawings made by a cartoonist that was named something like "V.A.N. Tonkin" (?). I have tried to search the internet without finding anything about this or similar names (like"Fonkin", "Tom K"... aso).

Is there anyone here that could decipher the signature?

It is actually only drawings, no publication. I can see some notes or captions though that points at some kind of later publication.
