    Panzer IV Manuals

    Hello folks,

I have appointed myself the unofficial official document finder for PanzerFabrik's Panzer IV project, and I have come across the following list of period manuals that I think would be of great use to the team. Do reproductions of these exist anywhere?

    Chassis - Description, Operations: D 653/1
    Chassis - Parts List: D 653/2+
    Driver's Manual: D 653/25
    Loading Plan: D 653/9+
    Lubrication: D 653/26
    Mechanics - Suspension: D 653/50a
    Mechanics - "Engine": D 653/50b
    Mechanics - "Motor": D 653/50c
    Service Manual - Maybach HL120: D 653/51
    Transmission: D 653/52
    Special Winter Equipment: D 653/201
Superstructure (not incl. turret): D 653/7
    Turret: D 653/6
    Turret - Electronics: D 653/8
    Turret - Schematic: D 653/21a

PS: If anyone has a higher resolution of this image that would be great as well.

Thanks in advance for any help you can provide.

Do you think they would be at the Panzer museum in Munster? I checked the National Archives (US) microfilm database and the D 653 series is noticeably absent.

I have original Panzer 4 Spanish manuals for the few sold to spain. I've been meaning to make copies. Would you like to know when they become available?

It might be some time though, I'm still researching how to make copies and you'd be behind the people wanting copies of my stug 3 manual.

You might want to check out the Bundeswehr Miliary Museum in Koblenz as well. It's been quite sometime ago that I visited but they had a well stocked book store with copies of technical manuals for sale.
