i was just checking this tread out when i found this .
Here are a couple more photos of a Kc winner before he was awarded his Kc later a oakleaf winner.
oberstleutnant Erich Abraham,
the 1st photo was taken the day he took control of the regiment from Oskar Prinz v.Preussen

it just struck me that i saw this man before ?
so i went through my color slide scans and found this one.
could this be the same man ?? oberstleutnant Erich Abraham

kc photo
It looks like it could be Friedrich Fluhrer,born Feb 1893 hence the
WW1 medals.
It lloks like he was still a Major when pic taken,so it would have been
taken 1939-Feb 1942 when he was promoted to Oberst
Was he captured Stalingrad with 16 Pz Div or posted before then as he
died Nov 1956.
Have checked 16 Panzer Div by Schmitz pic not in the book,also no
major award won with the Div.

Kraemer did not die until 1990 and although not common, examples to show up on the second hand market.
That said, a very nice signed photograph!
