Gee the man on the right looks like Major Fluhrer, Kdr. Pi.Btl.16 in 1939-40.

                      kc photo

It looks like it could be Friedrich Fluhrer, born Feb 1893 hence the
                      WW1 medals.
It lloks like he was still a Major when pic taken,so it would have been
taken 1939-Feb 1942 when he was promoted to Oberst
Was he captured Stalingrad with 16 Pz Div or posted before then as he
                      died Nov 1956.
Have checked 16 Panzer Div by Schmitz pic not in the book, also no
major award won with the Div.
                      Regards Jason.

I am inclined to say that it appears to be signed in a ball point pen and also taking into consideration the type of photographic print, that it is post war signed.

Kraemer did not die until 1990 and although not common, examples to show up on the second hand market.

That said, a very nice signed photograph!

                            Regards Richard.
Always looking for Luftwaffe Kampfflieger related document groups. In particular anything to Kampfgeschwader 2.
