    Lapplandschild Urkunde posthum?

    Hi,

at the local fleamarket I got a Urkunde of a Lapplandschild which was awarded to a GJ who fell in October 1944. There is his Sterbebild too.
Now I want to ask you if there were Lapplandschild docs awarded posthumly to fallen soldier?
    regards

I've not seen it before and am skeptical, but until we've seen it no one can say either way.

            Perhaps a little bit...

I mean, if the set that was bought at the fleamarket really is original, then you have the answer in your hand.
To tell if it is original, is impossible without any photos. IMO.

                Hello,

                here the pictures.
I must admit, the more I look it, the less I like it.
I hope that the death card is original

Judging by the signature and stamp I'd say that it is a fake citation.

oh dear...that's a pretty poor attempt. The faker has seen an example belonging to 10./GAR 118, 6 Geb.Div. and tried to use the details of that to fit this soldier.

Here's an example from the 11 Batterie to compare.

IMO not original! The flea market find, I mean.

Whoa! That sig and stamp are the first giveaways.
