There are some screwy people out there on eBay buying German WW2 color slides with more money than sense these days. Here are a couple of examples:
http://cgi.ebay.de/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?...m=331216379496
465 euros for an image of a wounded RAD Feldmeister where a lot of the subject is obscured by the shadow of the photographer?!!! It's incredible!
Another example:
http://cgi.ebay.de/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?...m=331216372698
109 euros for an out of focus image of a soldier with a muddy helmet?!!!
I've got dozens of slides in my archive with almost the exact same type of depictions. I think it's time to start unloading some of my collection so I can start cashing in on this craziness!
Also here is a great online archive with some fantastic color images and they are all free! It's not like these pay-per-use archives with mostly low quality scenes that seem to be springing up lately like mushrooms from pasture pies.
