        Hi Steiner,

I agree with Tom; in fact, I own a framed copy of this photo myself. My copy is 9 ½ x 12 ½" printed on an embossed mat 15 ½ x 19 ½", marked "Verlag Heinrich Hoffmann, München" (Published by Heinrich Hoffmann, Munich) and numbered 1037a. This Hoffmann photograph is a classic shoulder-length bust of Hitler, for which he posed no later than the final months of 1935, though it continued to be used for the next years. This pose is also often seen as a facial portrait, particularly on postage stamps from 1937, and as a waist-length bust.

It looks like this may have been a series by Hoffmann Studios...? My example of the AH portrait carries a serial number of 1037a at the bottom left corner, opposite Hoffmann's business name. I can see that there's something there on your Himmler portrait photo; what does it read?
