Photograph Quick Question

Hi,
was looking through some of my paperwork and realized on this Soldbuch photograph the national insignia is on the wrong side. Appears to be on the left. Could this be a developing error forgive my ignorance if not possible. I looked with a magnifying glass and is definitely on the left or am I losing it?

Your correct...I guess just printed wrong from the negative

I agree; it's a flopped negative. It should have been caught either by the photographer/studio or the customer or the organization to which it was being submitted, and rejected!! Just goes to show that the Germans were as human as any of the rest of us...which is also a scary thought, ain't it?!
