    Aircraft pictures

Disposing of everything that no longer fits in my collecting field.

Would like to know if the first two pictures are of pre war or post war German aircraft.
Also, with regards to the 3rd Picture,I believe this to be a copy as it has the agfa-lupex logo with lines both above and below it.
am I correct that this is a sign of a post war print/
    many thanks

          Picture #1 - pre-war Do-17's. 3Z = KG-77.

          Picture #2 - Model of a HE-177.

                Hi Andy,

The first photo is of Dornier Do 17 E-1s of 2./KG 77. It could be a pre-war image, but it could also be from the Polish campaign. Yes! KG 77 still used some of these obsolete versions in September 1939. And the unit did carry that yellow fuselage band around the nose during the Polish campaign. The very first German aircraft lost in WW2 was a Dornier from this same Kampfgeschwader: a Do17 E-1 of 7./KG 77 bearing fuselage code 3Z+FR.

The second image is indeed a model: In fact, it is a 1/72nd scale model of a Heinkel He 177 A-5 "Greif" by the model company, Airfix. I know this model kit well as I built a few of these in my younger days. The same exact kit was also marketed for a time under the MPC label.

The last picture shows a Junkers Ju 52/3Mg.

                Best regards,
                Tom

                  Hi again Andy,

I missed this question earlier. I agree with your opinion. Agfa-Lupex with lines both above and below is a postwar marking.

                  Best regards,
                  Tom
