    Some SS Germania documents with very rare Hans Dorr signature + pictures.

    Hi guys,

    would like to show you this nice set of documents.
    What is your opinion about it?
    I think the signature of Hans Dorr is very rare.

                    These photos are modern copies. And not very good quality.

                      The Dorr with RK photo was shot by Willi Altstadt in the Caucasus in the autumn of 1942. Altstadt commanded Wiking's war reporters platoon at the time. He had Dorr pose for several photos in this set, capturing various facial expressions. This is one of the few times Dorr was caught smiling for a press photo, he usually maintained a grim expression.

                      These photos are available on Altstadt's contact sheets at NARA, this higher-quality example was probably made from an example at the BA (but that's just a guess). I'll be using a scan of one of this sequence in my Sunwheels & Siegrunen volume 1 book, which I'm currently finishing up.
