    Language ID

    Here is the inscription on the reverse of a postcard from a soldier serving in the Wehrmacht. Does anyone recognize the language being used and possibly a translation? Many thanks.

    Looks like Russian or some other Slav language to me.

        100% NOT Polish! They use Latin alphabet, not Cyrilic!

        It could be Serbian, Bulgarian, Russian or Ukrainian...

                Thank you. What is surprising about this photo is the soldier is not in an Ost Bataillon or Handshar but rather serving in N. Afrika with the DAK:
