    Hello everyone,
Not into documents and I don't consider myself an expert but once I saw this post online for auction I couldn't help but laugh!

    Comments most welcomed!

    PS Estimated at 5k-7k!

IMHO worth about $ 50-100 for the Dönitz signature which appears to be authentic.
P.S. "Rheims" at the bottom is spelled incorrectly.

So if I get you guys right, this is worth just about $100?

Guess they are taking someone for a ride with this auction listing. What a shame!

          Hi,

Doenitz was quite active after serving his prison time in communication with authors, collectors, ex-KM members etc.
There are a lot of Doenitz signatures after 1945 available on various paper like books, postcards, letters, copy of documents etc.
USD100 is maybe a bit low because its a nice one, but not more than 300-400USD.
          Regards
          Christian

Pronouns dies (neutrum), dieses (feminine), dieser (masculine)
Document is neutrum, so "dies" is correct.

              Regards
              Christian

Yeah, 5K-7K is a joke. I think his signature on surrender documents are worth a bit more because it's kind of cool to have it on that.

But it's still common and I saw one go online for about $300 a month or two ago.

The Admiral gave out LOTS of items like this post war. I have two he gave me on a visit to his home. They are worth whatever his post war Sig. is worth. Tom

Yeah, a few hundred dollars is tops for this. The estimated value in the thousands is absurd.
