Can't read the bumper number on that 2nd truck but it looks like the 3rd Panzer Grenadier Division shared the same "Lorraine Cross" symbol as the U.S. 79th ID.Attached FilesLast edited by John F.; 11-13-2004, 06:38 PM.

Well, Mike, 3.Inf.div.(mot.) was renamed to 3.Pz.Gren.Div. in 1943. I recommend you to spend time in the very good www.lexikon-der-wehrmacht.de site.
May I ask you what is on the door of the second truck? The marking on the fender appears to me like a supply column Taktische Zeichen + "K2" (this K has nothing to do Kleist).
