I don't like it...the signature, the stamp, the way the unit is typed, lack of rank for the signer, the overall look of it.

Many years ago I owned his Preliminary Knights Cross citation (March 1945) along with a few other congrats letters. I know his other award documents were sold to diff. buyers. It's been along time, but I think this is his EK1 doc. TomComment

It looks like a 67 but there was no division with that number, but what about 87? that division was at least operating within the same army as the 1 PD at the time, but he was apparently promoted unteroffizier in april 42, though if this was awarded months after the actions and all that division knew was that they had some panzers attached to them from that division...Collecting German award documents, other paperwork and photos relating to Norway and Finland.Comment
