SS Photo ID Assistance....

Can anyone ID the 'slabs of something' these SS fellows are standing / sitting on ??? (note the codes, numbers, etc - photo taken at some sort of Warehouse, possibly [??] the loading dock of a Train Station).

The SS men are being assisted by two other foreign soldiers, this being one of them - Hungarian ?? Romanian ??? or ???

To me looks like Spanish soldier, side cap with a brush attached is a Spanish design from what I know. Probably Leningrad area – Spanish units were there.

Any idea on the 'slabs' Whatever they are, they are being prepared (i.e stacked, marked, etc) for a trip to Germany for 'use' of some type....

They look like regular blocks of Granite to me.
