Unique KVK2 to Female

hello all,

I wanted to share my War Merit Cross without swords to a female. I don't believe there are many of these documents for a female. I also liked the date of the document - April 28th, 1945. Just a few days before the end of the war.

KVK2 to Ingeborg Bischoff
LSW - Helferin (Helper).

I believe LSW is abbreviation for the air raid alarm service - LuftSchutzWarndienst (LSW)

LSW-Helferin means Luftschutzwarndienst ...

Warndienst = warning service

I like this Doc. very much ! Rare to a female..and the late date of award is great! I have a Doc. to a female for the KvK medal signed by GenLt. Emil Zenetti. I see yours caries the typical stamped sig. of Wolf. Very, Very nice document ! Tom

Any military\para-military award docs to females are difficult to find

Hi Scott,

Here is a 1939 War Merit Medal document that I have to a female administrative assistant in Regensburg. The document has a stamped facsimile signature of Generalleutnant Wolfgang Vorwald and the eagle ink stamp of Luftgaukommando VII in Munich.
