    Martin Bormann Document. Real?

The signature is different from most, but I compared it to stuff in Hamilton's book and it could be an abbreviated early version. (note I said could).

What you you think? I think it would be hard to replicate these documents. But it may happen? Of course it could be a secretary. So many variables.

Also it says "Heil" and not "Heil Hitler". Either its faded off or perhaps in 1934 the documents didn't say "Heil Hitler"?

    Thanks!

Okay. Thanks. Well after some more research I tend to think it is legit. Here is something similar from a year later, and the first part of the sig is pretty close with the first example.

A very nice and historic piece, and since the letter dated 22.5.34 was written to his father-in-law who out-ranked him, I tend to believe that he signed it himself!

It's signed with a simple "M." which makes sense as it was sent to his father-in-law. From a distance, it looks fine.
